POLICE are investigating an alleged road rage incident involving a school bus this morning (Thursday, May 11).
A witness said a Land Rover followed the bus on its school run and pulled up in front of it in Lydeard St Lawrence, near Bishops Lydeard.
They added that the driver, who was slightly injured, felt unable to continue with the journey ferrying the children to Kingsmead School, in Wiveliscombe.
Officers were later called to the scene of the incident in Nethercott Lane at about 9.30am.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We received a call at around 9.30am today (Thursday 11 May) to Nethercott Lane with a report of a road-related incident.
"One man sustained minor injuries after his foot was run over by a car.
"He did not require medical attention at the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
