POLICE are urging dog owners to keep their animals under control after two sheep were killed in West Somerset.
As well as the two dead sheep, a further two were seriously injured in the recent incident in Brompton Regis.
Officers are now pleading with owners not to permit their dogs to "roam".
A spokesperson for Minehead and West Somerset Neighbourhood Policing posted on social media: "There has recently been a sheep worrying incident in Brompton Regis resulting in two sheep dead and two seriously injured.
"Please ensure if you are a dog owner that the dog is kept under control and not allowed to roam."
