FOUR men are due to appear in court tomorrow (Friday, June 9) in connection with a collision involving a school coach.
They are charged with an offence around the alleged use of a motor vehicle in a condition likely to cause injury.
The case, brought under the Road Traffic Act 1988, follows an incident in Frome last year.
It involved a single-vehicle collision involving the coach on the B3090 Oldford Hill on Monday, November 28.
The four men summonsed to attend Bath Magistrates' Court tomorrow are:
- Christopher Giles, 33 of Trowbridge;
- Justin Spiller, 39 of Peasedown St John;
- Kristian Spiller, 38 of Peasedown St John;
- and Alan Spiller, 66 of Peasedown St John.
The coach was carrying students and staff home from Frome College at the end of the school day.
At the time, police reported a number of passengers, including children, received minor injuries in the incident at around 3.35pm.
A small number of people were taken to hospital by road ambulance for treatment or assessment.
Their injuries were not considered life changing or life threatening.
