THE fixtures have been released for Taunton Titans upcoming campaign in National League One.
The season will start at home as on Saturday, September 2, the Titans welcome a familiar foe in Blackheath back to Veritas Park.
With the National League now restructured into three regional divisions there are also encounters with a couple of newly promoted oppositions to look forward to in the shape of Sedgley Park and Leicester Lions.
Taunton will travel to Manchester on October 7 to face Sedgley Park Tigers before welcoming Leicester Lions, to Somerset on November 18.
Meanwhile Richmond, once a Premiership outfit, drops down to National One from The Championship and will be Taunton’s second home fixture on September 16.
Titans’ first away engagement of the new term will be a West Country derby at Plymouth Albion on September 9.
The return fixture is one to mark in the diaries just before Christmas on 16th December.
It wouldn’t be a day out at the rugby in Taunton without the traditional pre-match carvery lunch, the envy of many of Titans’ opponents.
