STAFF at a West Somerset restaurant were star-struck when Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis turned up for lunch on their way to the Glastonbury Festival 10 years ago.

The celebrity pair stopped off at the Smuggler’s Retreat in Blue Anchor and staff there said they were shocked by their arrival.

Lauren Worth from the restaurant said: “It was a surprise but they just came in, picked up a menu, ordered and ate their food, and then left.

“I was cooking in the kitchen and one of the staff said that they thought it was them.

"We tried to act normally and professionally because there were other guests in the restaurant.”

Ashton, then 35, is an American actor and has played lead roles in Dude Where’s My Car and What Happens in Vegas.

The former Two and a Half Men star was married to Demi Moore but the pair divorced in June 2013 he was now with girlfriend Mila.

Mila, then 29, was voted the world’s sexiest woman by readers of FHM magazine and is best known as the voice of Meg Griffin on hit animation TV series Family Guy.

She has also appeared in several hit films including Black Swan, Friends with Benefits and Ted.

The couple also stopped off in Bridgwater – where Ashton had his hair cut – but this time they weren’t immediately recognised.

Barber Jim Clayton told the County Gazette: “It was only when I got home and my wife told me they had been spotted in town.

"I asked if they were American and she said they were, so I asked her to get some photos up and then I realised it was them.

“She (Mila Kunis) took a shine to one of my dogs and sat with him on her lap.”

And for the record, Ashton and Mila married two years later.
