CHILDREN have joined in to help a street artist create a 'legacy mural' in their school playground.
Sam Gaden, of Aerosol Art, visited North Newton Community Primary School to spray paint the artwork on a wall.
He sketched the outline of the project with all the pupils and gave a demonstration of graffiti style drawing.
The initiative was funded by the school PTFA.
Chairman Verity Lowdon said: "Sam came into the school to sketch with all of the children and introduced them to graffiti style drawing.
"He has created a fantastic legacy mural in the quiet area that includes our school logo."
