TAUNTON Rugby Football Club has confirmed it will be holding its Annual General Meeting later this month.

The meeting will take place in the function room at Veritas Park, Taunton on Thursday, July 20 and will start at 7.30pm.

The club made clear that all relevant documents will be posted and received by members by the end of this week.

It has been a busy off season at the rugby club as the new TV viewing platform has been built and is in place above the stand on the railway side of the pitch.

It was a community project done by Taunton RFC sponsors Taunton Fabrications and the electricity and fibre has been installed as well.

The club said: "It is a state of the art video platform. The club can then stream what they want."

The first fixture to test out the new gantry is on Saturday, September 2, the Titans welcome a familiar foe in Blackheath back to Veritas Park.

With the National League now restructured into three regional divisions there are also encounters with a couple of newly promoted oppositions to look forward to in the shape of Sedgley Park and Leicester Lions.
