Wellington teenager made subject of a Sexual Risk Order

The order with a number of conditions was slapped on Tyler Hill, 18, of Bramley Close, at Taunton Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (July 5).

Hill did not attend the hearing, which was instigated by Avon and Somerset Police.

The order bans him from contacting or attempting to contact or living in the same premises as any child under 16 apart from in certain outlined circumstances.

Hill is also prohibited from using or possessing any device capable of accessing the internet unless the device records the usage history and he does not delete it and makes it immediately available to the police on request. The prohibition does not apply to his place of work, Job Centre Plus, public library, educational establishment.

Sexual Risk Orders are generally imposed on a person who has not been convicted or cautioned for the offence, but who nevertheless is thought to pose a risk of harm to the public.
