A LOCAL choir has been singing to raise money in memory of a much-loved colleague who died of cancer earlier this year.
The Blackdown Community Choir staged a concert of varied songs in aid of two charities.
The choir, which meets at St John's Church, in Wellington, has handed over £300 each to Cancer Research UK and the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The former is supporting two research projects at the Beacon Centre cancer unit at Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital.
Catharine Morgan recently presented a cheque to Alan Reeve, of Cancer Research UK.
