CLARKS Village is hosting a three-day celebration weekend to mark its 30th anniversary.

To celebrate the milestone, the shopping outlet is hosting a street party across its outdoor malls and gardens between Saturday, August 12, and Monday, August 14.

The free celebrations include street entertainment, family games, craft activities and festival glitter face painting.

Hampers of picnic blankets will be available to guests to soak up the atmosphere in the iconic Central Square Gardens, which will be visited by live musicians.

An artisan market will see up to 25 independent stalls join the outlet, showcasing the best produce and locally made goods from Somerset and the South West.

Food and drink stallholders include Glastonbury Gin, Beckford Rum, Rich’s Cider, Prosecco Palazzo, Brew Planet and Marshfield Farm Ice cream with crafty creations and art from Spotted Cow, Sheldon Glass and Emma Keys Portraits.

Other stalls include the Bloom Room Florist, Lucy Litchfield Soaps and Mahoney Candles.

Additional activities include a dressed crafts area, giant birthday cupcake, swing seat and branded floral wall – all decorating Clarks Village in style for the occasion while offering guests beautiful backdrops for photographs and selfies.

Throughout the weekend across the Clarks Village social media channels, guests will have a chance to win a fantastic prize giveaway full of goodies from the outlet’s brands with additional offers on top of existing discounts – all to the backdrop of the outlet’s ultimate 90s music playlist.

Chris Davis, centre director at Clarks Village, said: “This August marks an incredible three decades of Clarks Village not only making its debut in Somerset, but introducing the concept of outlet shopping to the whole of the UK.

"Over the last 30 years, Clarks Village has grown significantly and continues to attract the very best brands while endeavouring to create an offering which keeps guests coming back for more.

“We’d like to invite guests to join us across three days of celebrations as we really go all out to mark such an important milestone.

"With a street party feel, entertainment, family fun and a fantastic artisan market alongside exclusive offers and giveaways, it’s a weekend not to be missed.”
