A BISHOP'S Hull man beat up another man at a train station on Christmas Eve, a court has heard.
Rowan Gordon, 27, of Mountway Lane, pleaded guilty at Taunton Magistrates' Court to assault by beating at Bridgwater Train Station on December 24 last year.
The case at the station in St John Street was initiated by British Transport Police.
Gordon was in court for sentencing last Thursday (July 27) for his crime under the Criminal Justice Act.
He was discharged conditionally for a period of six months.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and to make a contribution of £85 towards the Crown Prosecution Service costs.
Gordon must pay off his total court bill of £111 at a rate of £20 a month starting within 28 days of the court sentencing hearing.
