TRAFFIC will be prohibited from using a section of a Taunton road for 26 days from next week.
Somerset Council has issued an order prohibiting vehicles from proceeding along a section of Wilton Street.
The ban, which will be in force for 24 hours a day, applies from the junction with Fons George northwards for a total distance of 43 metres.
It will enable CH Contracting (South West) Ltd to carry out building work.
The work is expected to commence on Monday (August 7) and last until September 1.
