TAUNTON Flower Show has announced it will be closing the access route from the front to the back of Vivary Park today (Thursday, August 3).

Posting on Twitter, a spokesperson from the flower show said: "We are closing the access route from the front to the back of the park today to allow the traders to set up and keep the public safe.

"We are sorry for the inconvenience this causes but it is for everyone's safety.

"All businesses around the park are open as usual."

The event will take place this weekend (August 4-5).

The show, which is one of the oldest in the country, will show off the talents of the local community.

There will also be music, entertainment, and fun for all the family.

For more coverage of the flower show, keep an eye on the County Gazette website this weekend and next week's newspaper.
