A CLASSICAL guitarist from Glastonbury will play at the next lunchtime concert at St John’s Church in Taunton.
On Friday, August 11 there will be a recital given by guitarist James Rippingale.
Followers of Mr Rippingale have had a long wait for his next concert as this will be the first time he will have given a concert after lockdown so the concert organisers are delighted that he has chosen St John’s to make his post-lockdown debut and to perform his new programme entitled ‘Summer Serenade’.
The programme will include works by Bach, Giuiami , and Tárrega.
The recital will start at the usual time of 12.45pm, with doors opening at noon.
Drinks will be available and people are welcome to bring a packed lunch with them.
The retiring collection will be shared between The Cat’s’ Protection League and St John’s Church.
