THERE'S a Christmas treat for fans of 1990s heartthrob boy band East 17.

The genuine group are performing at Oake Manor Golf Club on Thursday, December 28.

Who hasn’t imagined getting a white fluffy coat to Stay Another Day - their monster Christmas number one hit in 1994 - to celebrate Christmas with an East 17 concert?

They were one of the UK's most popular boy bands during the early to mid-1990s and have sold more than 18million albums worldwide, including 1.8million albums and 2.4 million singles in the UK.

They had 12 top 10 hits between 1992 and 1998, including House of Love and It's All Right.

In 2017 they toured Australia and New Zealand with Atomic Kitten, S Club 3 and Liberty X.

The band, which nowadays features Terry Coldwell, Joe Livermore and Robbie Craig, was formed in 1991 and named after the postcode of their home town Walthamstow.

East 17 have undergone multiple line-up changes over the years, with Terry Coldwell remaining the only constant member.

They achieved 18 top 20 singles and four top 10 albums and performed at Glastonbury in 2009.
