ORGANISERS of St Margaret’s Hospice's Sunflower Stroll is inviting people to take part in the event on Sunday, September 24.
It features a walk in Longrun Meadow before returning to the hospice in Bishop’s Hull.
Tickets start from £5 and participants will receive a sunflower dedication marker to place in the hospice garden and a dedication bib to add to your T-shirt.
You can upgrade your ticket for a Prosecco or cream tea in the hospice meadow after the walk.
Anyone who raises or donates £50 to St Margaret’s will receive a sunflower badge.
Money raised at the Sunflower Stroll will help fund the hospice’s Sunflower Centre Day Hospice, enabling the team to continue supporting local people across Somerset and surrounding areas.
The Sunflower Centre Day Hospice provides specialist support and advice to patients with life-limiting illnesses who are well enough to live at home but need access to the support St Margaret’s can offer.
It also allows patients to meet others in similar situations and take part in activities to help increase their confidence and independence and reach their goals.
