THERE'S mixed news for motorists travelling along a road near the Cooper Associates County Ground, in Taunton.
The good news is that the temporary one-way restriction on the A3038 Priory Bridge Road has been lifted ahead of the start of the school year.
It had been in place since the end of July during work to connect the Firepool development to the main sewer system.

Another initiative starting later to day (Monday, September 4) involves resurfacing work on the busy Wickes roundabout.

The road will be closed between 8.15pm and 6am each night from today until Friday next week (September 15).
The road will remain open at weekends.
