IT was up, up and away when managers at Oake Manor Golf Club lined up a treat to reward hard-working staff.
They laid on an unforgettable adventure for members of their hospitality team, giving them the chance to take to the skies in a hot air balloon.
The balloon took off from the golf course and allowed the staff a panoramic view of their workplace and the surrounding countryside.
Steve Purchase, general manager at Oake Manor, said: “We always strive to show all our team members how much we value their hard work, enthusiasm and commitment and that they all play a vital part in making Oake Manor the success it is today.
"We prioritise employee welfare at Oake Manor because we know that a motivated team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of service for our customers.”
Mike King, managing director, said: "Our wonderful team is the backbone of both our golf course and venue at Oake Manor and we owe our success to their dedication.
"Treating them to a hot air balloon ride was a small way to show our immense gratitude for all they do.
"Happy and motivated employees are crucial to the success of any business."
