Fire crews from Cheddar and Wells were called out yesterday afternoon, (Saturday) following a small property fire.
Two appliances and an officer from Devon and Somerset FRS were sent out to the fire, these appliances came from Cheddar and Wells along with two appliances from Avon FRS.
A spokesman for Devon and Somserset Fire and Rescue said: "The fire involved curtains within the living room which crews extinguished using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera."
The property was left five percent damaged by the blaze in the living room and one occupant was removed from the property prior to FRS arrival.
