DAY two of the Somerset County Show at Taunton Racecourse has been called off due to poor weather.
Overnight there was non-stop rain and it has continued through all day today (Sunday, September 17).
A spokesperson from the show said: "We are sorry to announce that we have closed early due to the very heavy rain."
The event was open yesterday and it was a successful day, so it is unfortunate to see the second day cancelled due to the weather.
A local said on Facebook: "That is a shame after all the hard work gone into it , sad for the traders for loss of income."
