AWARD-winning poet Henry Normal will be performing in Somerset over the next couple months alongside British actor Nigel Planer.

On October 11, the duo will perform a show at the Clevedon Community Theatre, closely followed by a performance at Taunton's Brewhouse on November 1.

This is part of their Autumn tour, which will offer a unique opportunity to see two exciting voices in spoken word.

The Brewhouse's website reads: "The BAFTA winning TV producer behind classics like The Royle Family – Henry Normal – will be bringing his Collected Poems and Other Landfill to Taunton Brewhouse this winter.

"Promising a night of superb poetry and comedy, he will be joined by special guest Nigel Planer, a prolific poet and author known for his roles in The Young Ones and Filthy Rich & Catflap."

More information about the two shows, including their start times, can be found on their respective websites.
