POLICE have announced this morning (Tuesday, September 26) that Sally has been found safe and well.

And Avon and Someret Police spokesperson said: "Thankfully we can update you this morning (Tuesday 26 September) with news that Sally, who was missing from Cheddar, has been found safe.

"We're very grateful to everyone who contacted us with information or shared our appeal."

THERE are concerns for a missing woman from Somerset.

Police have issued an appeal to the public to help find Sally, aged 59.

She went missing yesterday morning (September 25) from Wells Road, in Cheddar.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We are concerned for her welfare and need the public’s help to find her."

Sally is described as white, of medium build, approximately 5ft 4ins tall, with dark greying hair.

It is unknown what she was wearing when she went missing.

She frequents Deer Leap, Ebbor Gorge, Cheddar Gorge and the reservoir.
