PUDDLE Ducks swim school is hosting an open day with a free 30-minute taster lesson for primary school children.
The open day session for four to 10-year-olds takes place on Saturday, October 7, at its new pool in Evercreech, Shepton Mallet,which launched on September 1.
The venue offers lakeside classes from baby and pre-school through to swim academy.
The swim school will welcome families to attend the open day, dive into a trial session and experience a Puddle Ducks swimming lesson first hand.
Experienced teachers Diana and Sarah will be on hand throughout the morning to answer questions and all abilities are welcome.
Owner of Puddle Ducks Bristol and Bath Sarah Austin said: “Our latest pool in Shepton Mallet is a fantastic purpose built, family-friendly pool heated to 32 degrees, so provides the perfect setting for our open day and an introduction to swimming with Puddle Ducks.
"The pool also provides stress free changing facilities which is always appreciated by our families and is conveniently located just off the A371 just south of Shepton Mallet.”
She added: “We hope that the open day will offer an insight into how beneficial swimming is.
"Children adore being in the water, but we teach them to do it safely and with lots of fun. Their parents love it too.”
