SMOKE is still rising from the Taunton Recycling Centre more than 24 hours after fire broke out on the site - as can be seen in this drone footage of the smouldering site taken by a resident of the town.
Fire crews battled the flames and smoke after being called out to the blaze at the site on the Crown Industrial Estate shortly after 3am yesterday.
No one was injured in the incident at the Material Recovery Facility section of the site.
But the recycling centre in Priorswood remains closed today.
Somerset Council says it will not reopen until further notice as it is deemed to be structurally unsafe.
