A PLANNING application has been submitted to Somerset Council to site a number of gypsy pitches on farmland just outside Taunton.
The proposals, submitted by Mr and Mrs Jackman-Hughes, seeks to obtain a change of use consent for the location from agricultural to residential.
If successful, there would be four gypsy pitches along with associated hardstanding on the land off Wellington Road, at The Gables, Three Bridges, Bradford-on-Tone.
Mr and Mrs Jackman-Hughes' plans include the installation of two day room buildings, along with four bin and cycle stores.
A decision on whether to grant a change of use permission will be made by the council's development control manager under delegated powers.
