THE odds on Madonna headlining at next year's Glastonbury are shortening, according to an online betting odds calculator.

The Queen of Pop is priced at 5/4 to top the bill on the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm 2024, according to safebettingsites.com - just a few weeks after the odds were 4/1.

The only acts above her in the betting are Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Dave.

Neil Roarty, spokesperson for safebettingsites.com, said: “Momentum for Madonna to headline Glastonbury Festival for the first time in her glittering career seems to be building since recovering from her health scare earlier this year.

“The Queen of Pop had been as high as 4/1 to top the bill at Worthy Farm in 2024 just last month, but having been backed into 6/4 a couple of weeks ago, she has since seen her odds contract once again to 5/4.

“Dua Lipa (1/2), Coldplay (1/2) and Dave (4/6) are the current favourites in the betting, but with Madonna’s global The Celebration Tour due to finish at the end of April, the dates for a Glastonbury appearance certainly seem to fit, while co-organiser Emily Eavis’s comments earlier this year that the festival is looking at two female headliners for 2024 also seems to count in the pop icon’s favour.”
