A PRIMARY school in Taunton is working on a project that would improve the provision they have to promote emotional and mental health.
Holy Trinity C of E Primary School in Taunton (part of The Redstart Learning Partnership) is delighted to have been chosen as one of the three groups in the area who have been selected for the relaunch of the Tesco 'Stronger Starts' campaign (the blue token votes).
The project is titled 'Creating an Oasis' at Holy Trinity. Depending on the votes they could be set to be awarded a grant of up to £1,500.
Voting will take place between October 2023 and will run through until January 2024 in all six Tesco stores in Taunton: Tesco Express East Reach; Tesco Express Lisieux Way; Tesco Express Galmington; Tesco Express High Street; Tesco Priorswood and the Tesco superstore on the Wellington Road.
Every time you shop in one of these stores you will receive a blue token, we ask you to put your token in the Holy Trinity Creating an Oasis box.
The school would like to share this message with as many people as possible, parents, carers, staff, local community members, and so on. Please ask them to vote for Holy Trinity. Such a large donation would be a huge boost for the school to support the children holistically.
A spokesperson for The Redstart Learning Partnership said: “We are absolutely delighted to hear that Holy Trinity has been selected to participate in Tesco’s Stronger Starts campaign.
“Please can we encourage all to support the campaign by dropping your blue token in the Holy Trinity Oasis box.
“The money will make a massive impact in supporting our children and we’d like to thank Tesco for the opportunity.”
