A WESTON man who was a finalist in the Marshwood Arts Awards has said it was "an honour" to be selected.
Alex Wolfe-Warman, a photographer, had three photographs selected by Batcombe-based British photojournalist Sir Don McMullin to be part of the awards.
The photographs featured Weston Bay, Uphill Beach and The Cob, Lyme Regis.
The awards were created to promote creativity and talent in the arts.
The winners were announced at a private viewing on October 13. One exhibitor was also chosen to receive the John Hubbard Prize for 2023.
Although he did not win, Alex said that being selected by Sir Don McCullin for the finals was enough.
Alex said: "I did not win but it was an honour to be selected by Sir Don McCullin for the finals."
The exhibition of photographs can be seen at Bridport Arts Centre until November 4.
