TAUNTON Castle Probus met the Somerset County Gazette editor at the October meeting.
The event took place earlier this week and a spokesperson for the group said: “At the October meeting of the Taunton Castle Probus club the Somerset County Gazette editor-in-chief Tim Lethaby gave a very interesting, amusing, and informative talk on his life in journalism.
“From producing a stable of weekly newspapers and all that entails to keeping the various websites up to date and the many other media outlets and judging by the many questions asked afterward it was appreciated by all present.”
"The Probus club meets on the third Wednesday of every month at the Taunton Racecourse, there is a guest speaker each month and a two-course meal and coffee afterward, new members are always welcome, and if you would like to attend to check what a friendly group we are please contact the secretary Tim Allen on 01823 601022."
