THE Facebook account of a long-standing Taunton promotions company has been targeted in a recent cyber attack.
Paul's Promotions' account had been running for over ten years and had amassed 20,000 followers before being hacked this week.
The company is known to run the massively popular Prockters Farm car boot sale, which takes place in Monkton Healthfield.
The page had seen a surge in popularity since the recent announcement of an innovative car boot sale coming to Taunton this winter.
The site at Wellsprings Leisure Centre will host an indoor car boot sale, with ample space for both indoor and outdoor pitches, to help bargain hunters continue their shopping without having to brace the cold this winter.
The current confirmed dates for the Taunton all-weather car boot sales are as follows:
- Sunday November 12
- Sunday November 19
- Sunday November 26
- Sunday December 10
Paul's Promotions have encouraged people to share the news of their new Facebook page to help re-connect the community they had built prior to the cyber-attack.
