A PARTNER at an accountancy firm has clocked up a quarter of a century working in its Taunton office.

Karen Holloway has worked across many areas at Milsted Langdon, based in Deane Gate Avenue, over the last 25 years.

She joined the company in 1998 as a general practice audit trainee and quickly rose through the ranks.

After gaining her ACCA qualification, she was promoted to general practice audit manager, where she was responsible for managing the compliance and tax affairs of a diverse client portfolio.

In 2011, she took a significant career turn to focus on managing the affairs of the practice across all Milsted Langdon offices, taking on the role of practice director.

The new position made her responsible for overseeing the firm's business support services, including compliance, marketing, internal finance, administration and facilities teams.

Reflecting her unwavering commitment and exceptional service to the firm, Karen was promoted to the position of central services partner in 2019.

This role showcases her diverse skill set and highlights Milsted Langdon’s commitment to helping both clients and team members to thrive.

Speaking about her time at the practice, Karen said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 25 years working at Milsted Langdon.

"Everyone at the firm has always been incredibly supportive of my ambitions and passions, which has allowed me to explore new roles to help drive forward the firm’s growth and development, working alongside some extremely talented colleagues along the way.”
