A NEW Vauxhall dealership is opening in Taunton next week.

Howards Motor Group will be offering new and used vehicles for sale from premises in Priorswood Road from Monday (November 6).

It will also cater for customers' after sales needs.

Meanwhile, Howards Hyundai Taunton has today (Wednesday, November 1) moved out of its base in Priorswood Road.

It is now operating from premises in Bridgwater Road.

The previous Vauxhall dealer in Taunton left the county town at the end of June following a presence of more than 50 years.

Rowcliffes, which was based in East Reach, had its Vauxhall and Citroen franchises terminated by Stellantis.

It then re-franchised its Yeovil dealership and has Subaru and SsangYong franchises that it operates at Walton, near Street.
