A SOMERSET-based fashion designer has shown his new collection at Madeira Island Portugal Fashion Week.
Nathan Slate collection, “inspired by the winds of change”, features unique pieces dyed using rainwater, and exquisite crystal jewellery handcrafted by the designer.
With dresses made from up-cycled vintage parachutes, this sustainable fashion showcase promises to redefine eco-conscious style and leave a lasting impression at the event.
Nathan was positioned alongside famous names in the fashion world of Portugal, and shown as a leading designer in the sustainable fashion space.
Works focus on sustainable and ethically sourced practices. Using end roll fabrics and creating one-off pieces.
The designer uses his ceramic pieces in his collection as wearable art pushing towards a future where people can cherish their clothing for a long time fighting against the fast fashion industry.
