POLICE have issued images of teenagers acting suspiciously in an area of Taunton in the early hours.

Footage from CCTV cameras and Ring Doorbells shows the youngsters trying door handles, trying to open garages and looking into cars.

The incidents have mainly been in the Severn Drive and Thames drive area of the county town.

A spokesperson for Taunton Neighbourhood Policing said: "We have received several reports of suspicious behaviour involving a group of individuals who at this time we believe may be in their teens.

"In the early hours of the morning of the 1st November, a group have been seen on multiple CCTV cameras and Ring Doorbells, trying door handles, trying to open garages and looking into cars.

"This has mainly been in the Severn Drive and Thames Drive area."

The spokesperson added: "Please make sure your property is secure, even when you are at home.

"We want to hear about any suspicious behaviour.
