THE impact of Storm Ciarán is still being felt across Somerset.
There is still plenty of flooding in areas of the county following the heavy rain yesterday (Thursday, November 2), which led to two yellow weather warnings being issued by the Met Office.
According to Travel Somerset the following roads remain closed this morning (Friday, November 3) - A359 south of Marston Magna and at Mudford; Lipe Lane, in Ruishton; the Langport to Muchelney road; Nynehead Road, Wellington; Green Lane, East Chinnock; and Coat Road, Martock.
The A358 at Donyatt is now open again.
A number of schools closed yesterday due to safety fears.
Of those, Curry Rivel CofE VC Primary School, where children and staff were sent home yesterday lunchtime, remains closed today "under guidance" from Somerset Council.
