TRAVEL Somerset is currently reporting a main road closure in Taunton following a "road traffic collision".
The incident in Castle Street a couple of hours ago has seen the road closure to inbound traffic from the A38, according to a post n X - formerly Twitter.
Initial reports suggest traffic can still exit Castle Street.
The post says: "It is currently unknown when the the incident will be cleared."
Traffic monitoring service Inrix says there was "an accident" between the A38 Wellington Road and the River Tone Bridge.
The incident has now been cleared.
