A TAUNTON man has admitted taking a car without the owner's consent.
Leroy Drake, 19, of Cheddon Road, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicle taking and vehicle damage under £5,000 when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court last Wednesday (November 1).
The court heard that Drake committed the offence in Taunton on March 2 this year in contravention of the Theft Act 1968.
He was released on unconditional bail at the end of the hearing.
Drake was ordered to return to Taunton Magistrates' Court on Monday, December 18, when he will be sentenced.
