VANDALS have left a memorial bench from a Taunton park in the River Tone.
The bench was spotted by several disgruntled locals today (Monday, November 6), as it can be seen clearly when walking over the bridge in French Weir park.
It's located in the water on the left hand side of the bridge when facing the The Weir coffee shop.
Currently, the bench appears to be caught on something under the water, as fast flowing currents from the river have not yet dislodged it.
Somerset Council have been contacted for comment, in hopes that the memorial bench will be removed from the river and returned to its intended spot in the park.
