Under the tutelage of Damien Peers, Cameron delved into the history and philosophy of Sassoon, tracing its origins back to Vidal Sassoon.

Collaborating with luminaries from Sassoon, Cameron worked on projects that would later be photographed by Sassoon's international creative director Mark Hayes.

Cameron said: "Sassoon is instantly recognised and sets the standards for modern hairdressing.

"To be chosen for a year's mentorship by the Fellowship was an honour.

"Being selected as one of the finalists for Achiever of the Year by Sassoon creative director Damien Peers was truly amazing.

"It's a reminder that hard work and dedication, when noticed and appreciated by others, bring even sweeter rewards."
