AMBULANCE crews were called to the scene of a road traffic collision on a busy A-road in Somerset last night.
The crash happened at around 8pm on Thursday November 9 on the A37, close to The Mendip Inn pub near Shepton Mallet.
As of today, the affected car remains on the left hand side of Roemead Road, partially blocking the carriageway which leads to the A37 junction.
Severe front end damage can be seen on the vehicle as a result of the crash.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: "We were called at 20:02hrs on Thursday 9 November to a road traffic incident on the A37 near Oakhill.
"The resources we sent included a double-crewed land ambulance."
