WIVELISCOMBE honoured the town's war dead in a moving parade yesterday (Remembrance Sunday, November 12).
A two-minute silence was held in The Square with the standard party including Royal British Legion branch president Mike Morin, with escorts Del Evans and Ian Partridge and standard bearer Steven Wort.
The Last Post and Reveille was played by 11-year-old Elliot Cole.
The group then paraded down Town Hill and through Church Street to St Andrew's Church for an act of worship.
They were led by Claire Wilkinson and her horse Fly.
A number of children joined in, while the Wivey Boy, representing locals who fought for the country, was pushed in his wheelchair.
