A TAUNTON-based healthcare staffing agency has celebrated its fifth anniversary in style.
Noval Care, which has offices in Station Road, has supported several homes caring for elderly adults and people with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimers, Parkinsons and learning disabilities since 2018.
The company currently employs around 80 staff and provides support workers, healthcare assistants and trained nurses for the care industry in and around Somerset.
Director Sajil Tom Augustine said: "We have supported a few of our staff to become team leaders who then went on to become trained nurses.
"We do a yearly gathering for all staff. This year, as part of our fifth year anniversary, we decided to make it grand."
The Mayor of Taunton, Cllr Nick O Donnell, attended and a cheque was presented to Zoe Steer towards the care of the elderly ward at Musgrove Park Hospital.
And a number of awards of excellence were presented to members of staff.
Guests enjoyed food, music and games at the event earlier this month.
