POLICE are urging residents to be vigilant as ride-on mower thefts are on the rise in Somerset.
Several thefts have been reported in Frome and Shepton Mallet, Avon and Somerset Police said.
Ride on Mowers are popular with thieves at the moment. A number of thefts have been reported in Frome, Shepton and East Somerset Areas. Please be vigilant. An Avon and Somerset Police Mendip spokesperson said: “Ride-on mowers are popular with thieves at the moment.
“A number of thefts have been reported in Frome, Shepton, and East Somerset Areas. Please be vigilant.
“Take serial and model numbers and consider security marking your property. Make it harder for them to get away with it.”
