TWO people needed hospital treatment following a road traffic collision in Somerset yesterday evening (Wednesday, November 29).
Police reported the rush hour crash involving a van and a car on the A361 between Nunney and Shepton Mallet at around 5.30pm.
One person had to be freed after being trapped in one of the vehicles, but there were no reports of any life threatening or life changing injuries.
Police appealed to motorists to avoid the area for a period until the road was cleared later in the evening.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "Two people went to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing."
