The judging panel consists of independent wedding industry experts and they consider many aspects including client feedback, ethos, and customer service.

The results are scaled to match the number of clients a business serves each year, which means the results are fair and don’t favor larger businesses.

As the awards are a genuine and current mark of excellence in the wedding industry, the winners and Highly Commended businesses are a great place for engaged couples to find credible and reliable wedding suppliers.

Amy Nelson who runs Wedding Day Dance UK attended the event and is extremely proud to be awarded Highly Commended in the Special Touches category.

She said: “We really enjoyed the awards evening at Aldwick Estate, it was so glamourous.

“We met so many other wedding suppliers, from different sectors of the wedding industry. All the finalists were there as they had been voted for by their clients, so it was great to connect with new people, knowing they are top of their game.

“There was live music, canapes and entertainment, the atmosphere was buzzing.

“The fabulous host, Damien Bailey, announced the winners and Highly Commended businesses with everyone cheering and clapping, the room was absolutely packed.

“It felt like a privilege to celebrate our industry with such a community spirit, you could feel the positive energy in the room and it was so exciting.”

Wedding Day Dance UK organizes wedding dance lessons for couples in Somerset and all over the UK, to learn a bespoke First Dance for their wedding day.
