A NUMBER of motorists in the Taunton area became stranded as their vehicles spluttered to a halt yesterday.
Crews from Taunton Fire Station had a busy time carrying out rescue operations.
Blue Watch and on call firefighters from the county town were kept busy in the afternoon.
A Facebook post on Taunton Fire Station's page yesterday (Monday, December 4) said: "Blue Watch and On Call firefighters from Taunton have had a busy afternoon rescuing motorists from their vehicles in flood water.
"Don’t take risks by driving in flood water."
