Local residents got themselves into the festive spirit at last week's Christmas Light Switch On.
In the build-up to the event, which took place on Friday, December 1, the council promised they had "loads going on throughout the evening" - and it's safe to say they did not disappoint.
Those who attended the festivities enjoyed a host of entertainment, which ranged from live music, a free Santa's Grotto, a night market and even some late-night shopping in all of their favourite Shepton shops.
The acts who performed the live music included Smile and Wave, Razzomo, and the Frome Street Bandits.
A variety of creative workshops were also available, including wooden decoration making, children's music and movement, as well as felt decoration.
All this was alongside Christmas themed hot food and drinks such as hog roast, mulled cider and more.
The residents were excited to immerse themselves in the festival activities and spirit as they officially welcomed Christmas to Shepton this year.
