A MOTORIST was caught driving at twice the speed limit on a notorious stretch of road on the approach to Taunton.
Adam Philip Jones, 28, of South Street, Taunton, was clocked driving at 60mph in a 30mph zone on the A358 at Henlade on February 11 this year.
Jones was not present when the case was heard at Taunton Magistrates' Court on Friday (December 8), but the case was proved in his absence.
The case was adjourned to the same court until January 30, when magistrates will consider whether to disqualify him from driving for a period.
