A SOMERSET campsite, Buckland Farm Camping, has been given the National Top Dog Award.
The recognition came in the 2023 campsites.co.uk Camping and Glamping awards.
Buckland Farm, located near Wellington, has been the backdrop for occasional dog agility events over several years.
A boom in positive feedback led to Buckland Farm Camping being established in 2022, and it has since gained high praise from visitors.
The Top Dog Award acknowledges campsites that work tirelessly to ensure both dogs and their owners experience an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Martin Smith, the founder of Campsites.co.uk underlined the competition's intensity, saying: "Choosing gets tougher each year, but these sites went the extra mile.
"A huge congratulations to our winners, thank you for setting the camping bar so high!”

Award runners up include Orcaber Farm Caravan and Camping Park and Vale of Pickering Caravan Park, both in North Yorkshire.
