THE RSPCA at West Hatch has been celebrating after one of their dogs found a new home just before Christmas.
The team said they “already had the best present” when Doris find a home on Christmas Eve.
An RSPCA spokesperson said: “It's Christmas Eve, and all of us at West Hatch have already had the best Christmas present we could have wished for.
“We cannot express how touched we have been by all the support we received in trying to find a home for Doris, and all we want now is for all the other dogs that so desperately need to find a home by the 31st of December, to be as lucky as our Doris.
“There have been so many tears, first of frustration and now joy, and we just wanted to share with you how much this meant to us and Doris.”
